Softwares in Virtual Presentations
As
the educational institutions are closed around the nation in the wake of
CoVID-19 pandemic, the academicians both the tutors and the students are left
with no other options but to explore ways to continue the normal academic
activities. Of course, the virtual classrooms and video conferencing are
extensively used in the world more than ever.

For
college student like me, specially the final year students, we feel that it's
little injustice to complete the degree away from the institutions. However,
life has come more value than even education itself, these days. To live has
become more important and crucial than to educate. The world has suffered a lot
with millions of jobs lost, tens of thousands of people died and millions
infected. The economy of the countries falling all-time low. The situation is
never getting better.
As a student, we are compelled to explore ways to submit our
assignments in time and with efficiency. We discussed various software.
However, the best we have seen so far is a Camtasia.
Accordint
to Wikipedia, Camtasia is a software suite, created and published by TechSmith, for creating video tutorials and presentations
directly via screen cast We can also create videos directly by
the recording plug-in to Microsoft PowerPoint.

Camtasia Interface.
|
It
is one of the best screen recording and editing software. The screen area
to be recorded can be chosen freely, and audio or other multimedia recordings
may be recorded at the same time or added separately from any other source and
integrated in the Camtasia. The interface is also one of the easiest to interpret;
hence it is very user friendly.
Camtasia
consists of two major components:
·
Camtasia
Recorder - a separate tool for capturing screen audio and video
·
Camtasia
editor - here, we can edit the recordings. This is one of the best features of
Camtasia as we can add any Medias or delete the error parts. We can also add
effects and captions and even create timing of the appearance.
Preparing Interactive Presentation in Camtasia |
My
Experience with this software, hauls me all the way back to the day I installed
it as a trial. However, with the need to present the presentations virtually, I
have seen that this software has taken my life by storm. I explored YouTube
video tutorials https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x1s5GWW4vlI and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QZ6Ps24VLnI and
many others.
How can i use Camtasia in School?
Finally
with much difficulties, I was able to create my own presentation recordings
using Camtasia, which I then uploaded for submissions. This is one of the best
experiences I had in the wake of CoVID 19. You are compelled to find other
means for doing works and surviving. I would like to recommend that this
is one of the best interactive software where you can record and edit the the
recordings according to one's desire. It is also one of the easiest video
editing software available right now as it is easy to use and supports in any
computer.
Thank you!
